The main objective of the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) course is to in-
troduce students to programming within the object-oriented paradigm using the Java
language.
To achieve this, these course materials present the fundamental concepts of OOP as well
as their implementation and practical application in Java. It consists of 6 chapters. Com-
puter science has evolved from basic step-by-step calculations to building complex, real-
world systems. Today’s software needs to be scalable, easy to maintain, and adaptable to
change. This course bridges the gap between basic procedural programming and modern
software design using Java as our core language.
