Computational geometry is a discipline that is at the intersection of mathematics, geometry and computer science. It provides the tools necessary to model, transform and update geometric objects in any dimension, hence its presence in visual computing such as computer graphics, computer-aided design, animations, simulations and virtual reality.
In this course, we will discover the theoretical bases related to computational geometric modeling, as well as the study of geometric algorithms in terms of validity, termination, and complexity.
